Musée Henri Matisse - Paris

‘Ce qui dérange chez Matisse, c'est que sa peinture se dérobe a tout classification´, foi a partir desta frase que se organizou toda a Colecção de Matisse proposta no programa, por forma a se poder ter a melhor leitura da sua Vida e Obra. Para além da Colecção permanente, o Museu Matisse projectado para Paris compreende um espaço para Exposição Temporária, Espaço Educativo, uma habitação para o Director do Museu, espaço de trabalho para Artistas Plásticos, e o Espaço de Recepção, Vestiário, e Loja. O Edifício nasce com a intenção de rematar a Rua e ao mesmo tempo criar dois espaços exterior diferentes, fazendo referencias ás bastantes viagens realizadas por Matisse.

Besides this Permanent Exposition, the Matisse Museum designed to Paris must have a Space for Temporary Exposition’s, Education Area, an apartment for the Museum Director, Space for the Artists to work, and the Reception, Cloakroom, and Gift Shop. The Building was designed to be integated with the street and to create within the block two outdoor gardens to make references to the many travels by Matisse.
